What's the role?

This marketing role will be based in Hong Kong and will be part of the International Marketing team. Working with the Hong Kong region Marketing Team Leader, you will define, develop and execute marketing plans that build awareness, generate leads and nurturing existing client relationships for Bloomberg’s core financial products, including the Bloomberg Terminal, Trading and Enterprise Solutions, for Taiwan, South Korea and China markets.

What will you do in this role?

You will work closely with global marketing program managers at Bloomberg’s Headquarters in New York City to ensure the solutions/audiences you are responsible for in APAC are supported with well-informed and innovative marketing programs that effectively deliver a return on our marketing investment. You will also work with business partners and internal marketing stakeholders (content, digital, creative and event teams) within the APAC region and globally to manage execution to the highest standards.

A key responsibility of yours will be to understand and become an advocate for the Bloomberg brand and ensure that all marketing activities undertaken on behalf of a specific solution/audience group are aligned with and support the overall brand for Taiwan, South Korea and China markets. ?Frequent travel is required to China, other APAC offices and NY headquarters.

Who are we looking for?

You will have an extensive understanding of financial services and software in APAC, strong project management, written and verbal communication skills, and a drive to promote one of the world’s iconic brands.

You'll need to have:

  • BA, BS or advance degree
  • 8-10 years of experience
  • Bilingual skills (Fluent in English and Mandarin). Korean is a plus.
  • Successful track record in B-to-B financial services marketing
  • Extensive experience in the Chinese market and pan-Asia
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and coordinating execution with other teams
  • Experience in managing digital campaigns and tracking metrics
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to adapt and learn a new market
  • Ability to drive lead generation and campaign management
  • Ability to multi-task in a time-pressured environment
  • Ability to successfully partner with Sales, Product Managers, and Creative partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
