Technology is changing the nature of business and society in Asia. We're seeking a seasoned leader and technology editor who possesses a deep knowledge of Asia’s Technology landscape, with excellent editing skills.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking an experienced journalist to become the Team Leader for Asia Technology in Hong Kong. You'll help us lead Bloomberg's coverage of one of the most important and dynamic industries in the region. This will include the rapid rise of China's technology sector to challenge the power of the U.S., the growing influence of Japan's Masayoshi Son and the compelling entrepreneurs from Indonesia and Singapore to India.
You will ideally have the skills to help reporters deliver exclusive stories, from market-rattling scoops to features for Businessweek magazine.

We'll trust you to:

• Lead our Asia Technology team from Hong Kong
• Help shape strategic coverage of technology news in Asia
• Be a great leader with a collaborative and open approach to people and coverage
• Maintain a high level of quality and content across multiple platforms, and ensure those stories and headlines are well written and edited

You'll need to have:

• Minimum of ten years’ experience in business journalism
• Able to produce clear, concise, and accurate copy under deadline pressure
• An understanding of digital technology and industry data, as well as a track record of journalistic excellence and innovation
• Experience editing stories, building headlines and running coverage
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
