You're a tenacious reporter with a proven track record of breaking news. You will join our Houston office to take over coverage of liquefied natural gas and regional power markets and utilities. You will be expected to break news on LNG developments and power markets in the Americas and write broader stories about trends in electricity and gas.

We’ll trust you to:

• Cover breaking news with uncanny speed and accuracy
• Write for a range of platforms, including Bloomberg Businessweek
• Be a self-starter who can work calmly in a high-pressure environment

You’ll need to have:

• A minimum of two years reporting on energy markets
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• An ability to write quickly, concisely and accurately under tight deadlines
