Bloomberg Electronic Trading Solutions (ETS) trading platforms are supported with Enterprise solutions to provide end-to-end workflows. This way, clients can stage, monitor, trade, allocate and perform TCA on their trades directly from the Bloomberg Terminal for each asset class, whilst seamlessly interacting with our Buy-side and Sell-side Order Management and Risk Systems AIM, TOMS and MARS.

What's the role?

Bloomberg's ETS teams position various solutions for Equity, Fixed Income and FX e-trading and workflow automation whilst working with other enterprise sales teams to cross sell our suite of products. This role is for a Multi Asset Sales & Account Manager. As an Account Manager, you will help build communities and contribute to the growth of existing customers and new businesses by working closely with internal and external business stakeholders. 

As an experienced salesperson, you will position our diverse suite of enterprise trading solutions to existing Bloomberg clients as well as prospects across both buy-side and sell-side institutions in order to optimise their trading workflow. Your role will include building relationships at senior trading and c-suite levels to understand client infrastructure, workflow and drive the sales process.

We will trust you to:

  • Identify gaps in client’s trading workflow to increase usage of the terminal
  • Build pipeline through prospecting, relationship management, referrals, and cross-selling 
  • Have an in-depth understanding about the various markets the coverage clients are participating in 
  • Understand the current regulatory landscape and our clients’ challenges around it 
  • Possess project management skills to coordinate initiatives and strategies
  • Manage enterprise sales engagements with multiple stakeholders, and long-term requirements
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of customer workflow 

You'll need to have:

  • 3+ years’ experience within electronic trading
  • Knowledge of respective markets and trading needs 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to build phenomenal relationships with buy-side and sell-side clients, including senior level engagements
  • Sound understanding of trading processes, including Automation, STP, and OMS / EMS connectivity
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with Front Office Traders, Heads of desks as well as middle to back-office Compliance officers
  • A willingness to travel

We’d love to see:

  • Prior sales, new business development or account management experience, 
  • Multi Asset Class proficiency
  • Familiarity with OMS and EMS software
