Posted Jan 24, 2020 - Requisition No. 80905

Born in 1981, Bloomberg is the world's primary distributor of financial data and a top news provider of the 21st century. A global information and technology company, we use our dynamic network of data, ideas and analysis to solve difficult problems. Our customers around the world rely on us to deliver accurate, real-time business and market information that helps them make important financial decisions. At Bloomberg, we are guided by four core values that are the foundation of our continued success: innovation, collaboration, customer service and doing the right thing.

We harness the power of data and analytics to organize, understand and improve our world. It's our purpose. Come find yours.

The Team:

As the regulatory space becomes more complex and our clients are required to comply with a myriad of jurisdictional regulations, they need strategic solutions and we're in a great position to partner with them.
To make regulatory reporting simpler and minimise data reconciliation issues, Bloomberg offers clients the ability to report transactions in all asset classes via one real-time feed directly through Bloomberg’s Regulatory Hub (RHUB). We help enrich and validate data to be reported for Bloomberg’s clients and maintain data consistency throughout the post-trade reporting process. We bring transparency by ensuring the same data that is generated in reported to regulators is also available for best execution analysis, trade reconciliation and record-keeping.

What’s the Role:

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to own and run internal projects where they will be asked to analyse, design and implement new processes, management information reports, and documentation to address needs of the business group.  In addition to this, there will also be exposure to client projects where they will work with senior project managers to develop appropriate solutions.
The RHUB/BTCA team work globally across all areas of the Bloomberg business to ensure that our clients meet their regulatory obligations.  This will lead to exposure across multiple business units and how they operate as well as providing an insight in to the impact of regulations and market changes to our clients.
