What is the Apprenticeship Programme? 

The Apprenticeship Programme at Bloomberg is an exciting opportunity to take your first steps in starting a rewarding career with us. Our Apprenticeship Programme will support you in combining work and education, where you will have an opportunity to gain a formal HR qualification while also being an important and highly valued member of the team. This opportunity will provide you with an alternative route into a global organisation away from the classic university pathway. You'll be encouraged to learn, develop and grow, while working within a collaborative and innovative environment. 
 
This comprehensive programme will provide you with extensive internal training, a carefully curated education plan with one of our academic qualification providers, and highly valuable hands-on experience of working within a fast-paced and challenging environment.

This is why our Talent Coordinator role is about more than scheduling interviews and hosting prospective employees - it's about working in partnership with our Recruiters to build an extraordinary and memorable experience; a candidate-friendly journey from start to finish, using the opportunity to introduce them to the "wow" of working at Bloomberg (that we as employees experience every single day!) 
 
As a Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll play a critical role supporting our recruiting efforts for Bloomberg News; one of the biggest financial news organizations in the world. Bloomberg News leads the way in delivering news coverage in all its forms for the people with the most at stake. We report on the issues that matter to financial and business professionals - when they happen, and where they happen. If it affects markets, Bloomberg News is there first, delivering the most accurate information in milliseconds, on virtually every stock, bond and economic indicator. We lead the way breaking news that helps our readers and viewers stay a step ahead of the markets. This role is about more than scheduling interviews and hosting prospective employees. We’ll trust you to create an extraordinary and memorable experience for each of our candidates from start to finish and be comfortable partnering with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis. 
 
Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Available to start September 2022 
  • Three A-Levels (Grades A-C) or equivalent 
  • Learners must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject 
  • Posses the right to work in the UK 

We trust you to have: 

  • Authentic passion for providing unparalleled levels of customer service; 
  • Superb communication skills with the ability to handle discussions and work with all levels of internal and external customers, including high level stakeholders; 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail, as well as an ability to operate with large volumes, urgency and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment; 
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Experience working as part of a team

    Interview Process: 

Step 1: Online Application Form: Submit an online application form along with your most up-to-date CV and/or your UCAS personal statement. Show us you are eligible. 
 
Step 2: Telephone Interview: Successful candidates will be invited to schedule a 20 minute telephone conversation with a Bloomberg Recruiter. Show us you are motivated. 
 
Step 3: Assessment Day & Team Leader Interview: Complete some interactive online tasks and exercises designed to help you demonstrate your strengths and abilities. Show us you are capable. 
 
Step 4: Final Interview: Meet with our Managers to discuss your motivations and potential. Show us you are the best person for the apprenticeship.
