What’s the Role?

You’ll work closely alongside the London team, and deal with a wide range of people and projects at various levels. You will serve a critical role on special events -- from preparation to execution -- and liaise between Bloomberg's many cultural partners and our employees and guests.

Being culturally aware of the best and most interesting exhibitions, performances and social experiences across key European cities is definitely a plus. You’ll need to be enthusiastic and proactive as well as have the confidence to deal with people / projects at all levels.
Flexibility in terms of hours and approach is essential.
To be successful in your role you need to have excellent project administration and strong written and verbal communication skills

We’ll Trust You To

  • Assist with ad hoc research, biographies and information requests about key people, charities and locations
  • Research and compile key exhibitions, cultural happenings and venues around the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Africa
  • Support key client and VIP events, inclusive of everything from preparation to execution and follow-up
  • Support with team's internal and external communications, including newsletter preparation and sending employee communications
  • Assist with renewing memberships for arts partners across Europe and help maintain a database of key contacts across multiple strands
  • Manage employee cultural access platform including adding new events, managing inquiries about how to access events and exhibitions, and host bi-weekly sessions to allow employees to ask questions and collect tickets
  • Assist with administrative duties including saving and uploading images, creating PowerPoints, scanning and saving documents, managing mailing, post and last minute requests and adding contacts to databases
  • Create VIP itineraries including suggesting appropriate cultural activities and acting as liaison between the institutions and Bloomberg
  • Help to promote the work of Bloomberg Philanthropies internally and externally
