The Bloomberg Marketing Studio:

The Studio is Bloomberg's in-house creative group. We work on assignments for digital, print, environmental, interactive and broadcast projects. The Studio has outstanding writing, design, production and content capabilities. Our creative team has a strong hands-on and highly collaborative approach to both campaign concept development and graphic design systems. The production team ensures ideas are realized to world-class standard execution. The Studio drives projects across the full spectrum of Bloomberg, rolling out campaigns both internally and externally. The team works across a global workflow, with staff in all our major offices.

We are looking for:

You are the type of person who is self-starting, hands-on conceptual designer who will bring original ideas and a fresh, stylish approach to each project. You take ownership of projects and can drive them from start to finish. Having experience in the design and art direction of large-scale branding efforts, cohesive integrated campaigns, as well as working within a defined but dynamic visual/brand system.

We'll trust you to:

  • Help create strong sense of style, through excellent skills in: typography, photography, and video
  • Be a 360 degree integrated thinker who is able to create and roll-out multi channel campaigns in partnership with copywriting resources and other art directors globally
  • Strong digital design skills with working knowledge on digital marketing, website development, mobile web, mobile apps, and micro content
  • Understanding of current digital design and UX/UI best practices
  • General understanding of social media and content, marketing and their role in marketing initiatives

You’ll need to have:

  • Sophisticated skills as a graphic designer
  • Robust operating knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Highly refined skills in art direction and experience directing shoots
  • Experience developing ideas that drive integrated communications campaigns
  • Industrial and environmental graphic design experience
  • A knowledge of motion graphics and interaction design, are all a plus
  • Working knowledge of Sketch, Zeplin and Invision, are a plus
  • 5-8 years experience in a similar role within a company or agency*
  • BA/BS degree required. Candidates with a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Visual, Fine or Commercial Arts, Art Design or related field preferred
