Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") coverage spans company and credit research at the single-name and strategy level, while also addressing litigation, regulatory and environmental, social, and governance issues confronting publicly and privately listed companies. As part of the FICC strategy effort, corporate credit, rates and currency coverage is being built out in Europe and Asia, to complement our existing U.S. footprint.

What’s the role?

We’ looking for a G-10 currency strategist to complement its growing fixed income, currency & commodity research business. We are in the process of globalising our footprint, adding to our team in Europe and expanding into Asia.
The strategist will generate and publish qualitative and quantitative insights on FX spot and derivatives markets, for Bloomberg’s global user base. Candidates should also be strong communicators capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with colleagues across geographies.

You’ll need to have:

• Solid experience as a G-10 Currency strategist or trader
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
• Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
• Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
