As an experienced graphic editor who thrives under real-time deadline pressure, you will edit financial research and be a primary resource for advising on and creating visuals to showcase supporting data. 
 
You will act as the visualization expert for our teams of research analysts. With strong design and creativity skills, you will leverage internal charting and graphic applications as well as external software to provide readers with story-telling visuals. You will use and develop templates, combining text and various types of visual illustrations, to best feature our research in different formats across various platforms and devices. As part of the graphics team, you will help define guidelines and best practices, evaluate new requirements and help assess return on investment of developing tools and processes. You will be a key part of our growth and innovation, helping with franchise development and leading us to raise our game and expand readership.

•  Edit, illustrate and publish our research under deadline pressure
•  Strive for visual quality, accuracy and consistency
•  Show curiosity, creativity, technical prowess and design sensibilities
•  Use your critical constructive mindset to nurture productive interactions with analysts
•  Leverage all available tools to create and enhance visuals
•  Act as troubleshooter and problem-solver for data representation 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

•  Strong writing, editing and visual design and communication skills
•  Familiarity with design software
•  Proficiency with Bloomberg, MS Office and Adobe products
•  Ability to handle deadline pressure, work in an intense real-time environment
•  A team player who can help expand the team's skills in data visualization
•  Entrepreneurial attitude, an innovator who can help BI develop new products 

WE'D LOVE TO SEE:

•  Proficiency with design and visualization software like Tableau and Power BI
