Bloomberg Intelligence ("BI") is looking for a EMEA FX and Rate Strategist to add onto its growing Fixed Income, Currency & Commodity Research business.
BI offers valuable written analysis, industry data and interactive charting and functions from a team of independent experts.

The EMEA FX and Rate Strategist will work closely with the FICC Strategy Team and report onto the Head of FX Strategy. Candidates should be strong communicators capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with colleagues across geographies and different asset classes.

Requisite experience and skills:

 

  • A minimum of 5 years professional experience working as an Economist/a EMEA FX/Rates Strategist on the sell side/buy side, Independent Research House, Economic Organisation or Central Bank.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to apply macro and political knowledge onto Investment Strategies
  • Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal
  • Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation and/or MSc/MBA/Phd
  • Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
