You get a buzz out of delivery a strategic service to your business leaders. You will be part of the team that supports a group within the Financial Products division in EMEA.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Play a leading role in the design and execution of workforce plans and organizational development strategies, in support of our business strategy and operational objectives
  • You will partner with teams across the region to advocate for continuous organizational performance improvement. You will solve complex strategic challenges while being "hands on" on all other aspects of the role
  • Oversee the execution of the Bloomberg Performance Evaluation cycle. Devising and implementing strategies to meet the career development needs of employees and business performance objectives
  • Lead and drive the Bloomberg human capital agenda
  • Consult on critical talent decisions and achieve operational excellence for the business
  • Perform as a trusted advisor and coach to your leaders on full range of people issues

Your clients/colleagues will depend on you to:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the vision, purpose and strategy of the business and design and implement a relevant and commercial strategy. Build credibility by combining commercial and HR expertise to add value to the business
  • Drive results based on business goals and strategies, by defining and executing specific people-focused initiatives, including talent-related initiatives and employee development programmes
  • Use data, metrics and internal / external trends to provide leaders with insights to inform business decisions, organisational structure and HR projects
  • Build credible relationships with key leaders, business stakeholders and peers globally by combining commercial and HR expertise to add value to the business
  • Provide guidance and challenge managers on how to effectively manage change within the organization, such as department reorganizations, leadership changes and role restructuring
  • Partner with Employee Relations to resolve employee issues and formulate recommendations to leaders; understand trends and recommend actions
  • Manage a wide range of stakeholders across HR and internal clients to achieve flawless execution of HR initiatives and annual process
  • Work in partnership with senior managers on the development of their organisation. Including reviewing and making recommendations in relation to; organisational structure, process/information flows and employee capability requirements in order to meet current and future needs of the business and measure/adjust to achieve optimum operational efficiency
  • Design, develop and execute on workforce plans with senior leaders, ensuring a longer term view on the development of the organisation. Display confidence, emotional intelligence and decisiveness

You need to have:

  • Proven Experience in an HR Generalist/Human Resources Business Partner role
  • Ability to use HR reporting & analytics in generating insights and presenting findings back to the business, as well as tracking and disseminating key HR data
  • Demonstrated expertise and experience serving in a consultative capacity to senior business leaders, shaping organizational strategy, goals and alignment
  • Experience collaborating with various HR disciplines including compensation, recruiting, employee relations, shared services and talent management
  • Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast paced, global collaborative environment; commitment to innovation and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated expertise building consensus on a cross-functional basis
  • Experience managing a variety of employee relations issues
  • Facilitation skills, including fostering creativity in solution design
  • Good judgment on a range of people issues and the confidence to influence leaders and drive commercial outcomes
