Our Technology news team is expanding. We use the range of Bloomberg platforms - including the terminal, website, magazines, and television - to tell the story of how technology start-ups, VC firms and entrepreneurs are setting new trends and challenging the incumbent global tech giants. We then explore how those giants have to adapt their businesses within Europe.

You're a knowledgeable editor who can develop compelling story ideas. You will shape stories about the hottest companies, biggest personalities, and the most surprising investments across the region.

We'll trust you to:

• Have awareness of the major news stories and trends within tech
• Generate and shape story ideas with a strong story-telling ability
• Help break important news about European tech companies and individuals
• Edit copy for accuracy and insightful coverage
• Attract and nurture top journalistic talent
• Contribute to a range of platforms
• Communicate and collaborate with teams across the company

You'll need to have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven editing experience in business and financial journalism
• Experience working in a real-time news environment

We'd love to see:

• An ability to work as a reporter-editor, breaking news as well as editing
• Web production and advanced social media skills
