We’re looking for an experienced professional to join Bloomberg's Evaluated Pricing Service Team (BVAL) which provides extensive coverage for fixed income and derivatives instruments, including pricing the Bloomberg Barclays Indices, the global market leader in fixed income indexing. You will join a rapidly expanding specialized area of Bloomberg and will be responsible for prospecting, managing and selling BVAL to financial institutions. The role will work very closely with the full spectrum of external clients, as well as with internal Sales teams to win strategic deals.

We'll trust you to:

  • Be a motivated self-starter, comfortable in a demanding client-driven environment, can drive new business and expand current client revenue through on-site client presentations
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for a diverse range of products
  • Formulate responses to both RFI/RFP and informal queries from prospects and clients
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge to provide high-level analytical and product expertise to clients and our sales force
  • Influence the direction of our services by providing feedback to Product Managers
  • Utilise exemplary presentation, training and communication skills to develop and maintain client relationships

You’ll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong product knowledge of fixed income and/or OTC derivatives
  • A track record of successful Enterprise sales
  • An understanding of the operational and technical infrastructure of financial firms
  • Knowledge of data licensing, warehousing and centralisation
  • The ability to identify new prospects and build lasting relationships
  • Skills to provide maintenance and develop new sales within existing clients
  • An aptitude to excel in a fast paced, rapidly growing environment
