Enterprise Data, Russian Speaking Sales Representative

What is the role?

Due to significant expansion – and huge opportunity, we are looking for a talented sales professional to join our EMEA Enterprise Data sales team. You will have the vision and domain expertise to build successful sales strategies so that we capitalise on the opportunities in front of us. You will be ready to step up and make your mark.

You will be responsible for sales of Reference Data, Real-Time solutions, Regulatory solutions and Bloomberg’s financial engineering & analytics service (BVAL for fixed income and OTC derivatives) on a sub-region of Eastern Europe. You will be responsible for defining and executing the strategy that spans multiple countries in Eastern Europe. You will work closely with international clients and prospects to gain a clear understanding of their business requirements and provide consultative business solutions to build stronger relationships.

You will need to demonstrate credibility with a proven competence and knowledge of enterprise / B2B selling across sell-side financial institutions. You will have a deep understanding of data flow and technology architecture within financial organisations, who uses it and what for.

You will be a good listener, able to demonstrate a genuine interest in our clients. You will demonstrate how the quality, reliability and timeliness of Bloomberg content and services will help financial firms improve processes and comply with new regulations. You will also provide insights on the benefits of leveraging our cutting-edge technology to effectively deliver, organise and use data whilst streamlining supply chain, creating value and generating efficiencies at client organisations.
You will be comfortable interacting with C-level executives, experienced with long selling cycles and confident in communicating how our technology and data solutions will contribute to their overall business goals at higher level.

We will trust you to:

  • Manage the Enterprise sales engagement smoothly, end-to-end
  • Leverage market, product and technical expertise to identify client needs
  • Acquire and maintain a good understanding of clients’ regulatory obligations, and how Bloomberg could work in partnership to help meet them
  • Produce clear, concise proposals with an appropriate level of detail that identify client needs, current workflows, proposed solutions and commercials
  • Establish & execute a pipeline target market strategy for achieving sales targets through the appropriate stages of the sales cycle within your assigned territory
  • Build relationships across client organizations to ensure that all stakeholders are managed appropriately as part of the sales process
  • Balance engagements across the sales life-cycle to maintain desired pipeline levels for long, medium and short-term sales

You will need to have:

  • An understanding of our clients in the region (who their customers are, how they make money)
  • Clients’ technology stack, workflows and internal structures
  • An ability to build and maintain credibility with clients, identify gaps and recommend solutions
  • Sales experience of managing a suite of solutions and have met or exceeded targets (revenue-generating and adoption/usage goals)
  • Strategic mind-set and solution sales skills
  • A grasp of the regulatory landscape impacting financial institutions firms in Europe
  • A solid understanding of data flow and technology impacts in financial institutions
  • International exposure to Eastern Europe and Russian language skills

We would also love to see:

  • Familiarity with the Bloomberg Professional Service (terminal)
