Bloomberg News is one of the biggest financial news organisations in the world, leading the way in delivering scoops about mergers and acquisitions. Our global equities team covers the regional equity markets, as well as breaks news on individual equities and market events.

We're seeking an editor to help lead Equity Capital Markets coverage in London.

The ideal candidate is someone who is well-sourced, while being tenacious and passionate about developing new ones. You also have a knack for identifying themes in the market and leading reporters in weaving narratives about them.

We'll trust you to:

  • Coordinate breaking news on initial public offerings, share placements and secondary listings
  • Provide and edit colour on those events
  • Edit interviews with investors and executives that keep our clients glued to the terminal and identify industry trends
  • Be a team player

You'll need to have:

  • Experience covering equity capital markets
  • A Bachelor's degree
  • An ability to cultivate sources and work across teams and platforms
  • Solid news judgement
  • Editing experience
