The Role:

There is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our London team as a Junior Equity Trader. You will be a key member of our Execution Desk, helping Tradebook's buy-side clients to optimise their use of our suite of trading tools and functionality. You’ll consult with buy-side traders regarding their trading process and workflow, with a goal of helping clients to achieve superior execution quality. In addition to managing orders, an important part of your role will be to build client relationships, mitigate risk and drive commission revenue through the thoughtful promotion of Tradedbook solutions.
You’ll bring with you market and trading knowledge of equity, an understanding of the institutional buy-side, an outgoing personality and entrepreneurial spirit.

We’ll trust you to:

• Manage risk and sales trading for Bloomberg Tradebook clients
• Expanding the Tradebook execution business in the EMEA region; whether building new business or expanding existing relationships
• Position our Products and Services with an intelligent, considered approach
• Partner with colleagues in other regions to coordinate service for our global client base
• Collaborate across asset classes with your colleagues from other desks and business areas to help reach our collective goals and strategies

You’ll need to have:

• FCA Securities and Regulation Exams (CF30 registered approved person)
• Undergraduate degree
• Equity market and trading knowledge
• High proficiency in Bloomberg functionality and analytics
• Proficiency in Bloomberg trading applications (EMSX, Tradebook, SSEOMS, AIM)
• Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side OMS/EMS applications
• Knowledge of advanced execution strategies (algorithms and DMA); trade decision analytics
• Knowledge of pre and post trade TCA products and applications
• Strong understanding of electronic trading industry best practices
• Exemplary communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills

We’d love to see:

• Business level fluency in any core European language, in addition to English
