Bloomberg TV & Radio delivers business news, insights and analysis to more than 360 million homes worldwide - 24/7. We’re seeking experienced freelance TV & Radio producers and segment producers to join our London team. These individuals will work with the production teams to execute on content & visuals linked to our Bloomberg Professional Service for daily programming across the globe.

We'll trust you to:

Associate Producers -

• Develop story ideas
• Build fluid segments
• Organize necessary charts, graphics & video for our shows
• Find, cut and use pieces of audio to help tell a story
• Communicate effectively to give guidance and direction to anchors, reporters and other staff
• Utilize excellent news judgment to produce quality broadcasts

Segment Prodcuers -

• Research and book newsmakers
• Find compelling guests in response to breaking news for our live programmes, as well as maintain longer term guests for the daily shows
• Develop and produce enterprising segments
• Participate in field production duties as needed

You need to have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in and understanding of live TV & Radio
• A solid understanding of financial markets and business news
• An ability to bring a wealth of contacts and industry knowledge to the role
• Strong communication and writing skills
• An ability to thrive under deadline pressure
• Flexibility with working hours

We'd love to see:

• An ability to work in ENPS
• Working knowledge of Adobe audition
• Proficiency in the Bloomberg Professional Service
