The Role:

The Bloomberg Global Data Department is looking for highly motivated and driven Team Leaders. The role of this Department is to source, gather, create and transform information into the world's most valuable and influential financial data products to feed the Bloomberg Professional Service and its auxiliary products.
As a Team Leader your core responsibility is to ensure the consistency, quality and product delivery of the financial dataset. In addition to your own individual contribution to the core role, you are expected to do this by building and retaining a high performing team who will meet and exceed team and individual targets. Additionally, you will liaise with internal/external stakeholders and customers around the wider strategy, regulatory requirements, and to promote your product and its usage.

The successful candidate will be matched with a team covering one or several of the following products; Commodities, Corporate Finance, Derivatives, Equities, Economic Statistics, Fixed Income, FX, Funds or Global Data Analytics.

Qualifications/experience required:

• Strong understanding of the Bloomberg Professional Service and financial products
• Commitment to developing people and managing performance
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of interacting with players within the financial industry
• Prior leadership and or project management experience
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and capable of handling multiple projects
• Ability to meet deadlines, logically tackle problems and set priorities
• Evidence of strong individual contribution as a Financial Analyst
