We are Global People Services, an integral vehicle of Human Resources delivering first class service to the enterprise. GPS members are the vital consultants for employees and business leaders when they have any questions or concerns about HR-related programs, policies or procedures. The global team facilitates critical employee lifecycle transactions in a seamless way. From on-boarding new hires into the company, to coordinating global mobility and working closely with external vendors, our aim is simple- to provide a seamless, platinum level of support to our colleagues and businesses.

What’s the role?

You’ll lead the regional GPS team based out of London supporting employees in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa. As a leader, you’ll build a network with the different centers of excellence, be a go-to person for your team as well as the different HR teams in London. You’ll be leaned on by the business for escalation, guidance on process and answering questions.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Lead by example. Understand Bloomberg HR business processes in sufficient detail and execute as needed
  • Be our Subject Matter Expert in the region for all HR operations matters - Process and Policy
  • Institute and review proper controls to mitigate risk and maintain data integrity
  • Establish and adhere to service levels with various centers of excellence
  • Analyze business processes and make recommendations for improving efficiency
  • Partner with regional stakeholders to promote operational efficiency through adoption of self-service

You’ll need to have:

  • Good general knowledge of HR policies, processes and regional employment law
  • Workday, SAP, PeopleSoft or other relevant experience in HR systems
  • Leadership experience working in a dynamic fast-paced support environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to grasp new technology
  • A highly professional manner, with the ability to interact with employees of all levels of experience and seniority, across the organization
  • Proven ability to provide first-class customer service

We’d love to see:

  • Experience in documenting process flowcharts
  • Certified Professional in Human Resources
  • PHR, SHRM-CP or CIPD certifications
  • Fluency in an additional language
