Our team publishes 25+ newsletters that provide unique data, original and aggregated content and commentary on topics including Economics, Hedge Funds, Oil and Financial Regulation.

We're looking for a reporter for our hedge fund newsletter, aimed at people working in the industry. You will write on exclusive information about new firms launching funds, investors hiring hedge funds and hedge fund performance & trends. You will get to interview top fund managers to write exclusives and produce Q&As weekly.

We'll trust you to:

• Create actionable content for a specialized readership
• Be a self-starter and collaborate with our global teams of reporters, analysts and economists
• Have strong news judgment, with an ability to spot trends, generate ideas and tell stories with data visualization
• Become well-sourced among investors and funds
• Contribute to a range of platforms, including the Bloomberg Terminal, Bloomberg Radio and Bloomberg TV
• Attend source meetings and industry conferences

You need to have:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Proven journalism experience
• A knowledge of the economy and financial markets

We'd like to see:

• Experience in building data visualizations or a deep interest in doing so
• A demonstrated ability to do radio/podcast/TV interviews
• Previous experience writing about hedge funds
