We are seeking a driven and results orientated individual to join our Supply Chain Technical Production Team based at our European Production Facility in Canning Town, London. You will be part of a dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment that provides excellent service to both internal and external customers. On a typical day you will be involved in working within the technical team handling the testing, repair and configuration of Servers/Routers and PC's, keyboard repairs as well as assisting our conference / seminar team. This front end repair and production of equipment is essential to the Bloomberg’s key product: The Bloomberg terminal which provides key information, data and analysis for over 320,000 clients across the globe. Without the skill, knowledge and input from this team, Bloomberg would have not have the equipment which is used to help sell to clients, generating revenue.

• Be able to collaborate with other departments within the company to provide the best service to both internal and external customers
• Have good problem solving skills and some previous customer relations experience
• Be a reliable conscientious team player whose passion is to work to provide a superior service

You'll need to have:

• The ability to work to a high quality standard with good attention to detail
• The ability to multi task
• Proven skill at working in an environment of constant change and be able to learn new technologies quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Competent efficiency in computer literacy with a good working knowledge of MS office

We'd love to see:

• Any past experience in repair or configuring IT equipment
• Experience working in an ESD controlled environment
• Experience running and understanding simple test programs
• Previous experience working on PCB assemblies inspecting for quality of manufacture.
• The ability to diagnose hardware problems and repair electronic equipment
• A general understanding of network hardware, configuration and cabling
• Experience of SAP RP1 preferred but full training will be available.
