The Incident Management Team is responsible for the management, coordination and communication around all service impacting outages. This involves liaising with a variety of technical teams throughout the company, structuring and leading investigations and working with the respective client support teams to ensure accurate and timely information is disseminated both internally and externally including collaborating with senior members of the management team during significant customer impacting outages. Furthermore, the team is responsible for Problem Management activities helping pursue root cause analysis and remediation actions.

We'll Trust You To:

  • Facilitate the resolution by effective communication across multiple teams.
  • Quickly assess the severity of an outage in regards to business impact and technical complexity.
  • Notify, escalate and communicate to senior management the existence and status of outages, as necessary.
  • Help coordinate the investigations and drive the incidents to resolution/remediation.

You Should Have:

  • Experience with application or infrastructure services.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively tailor communication of technically complex issues to various audiences.
  • Strong collaboration skills with an interest to develop a strong network.
  • Ability and aptitude to pick up new technologies or procedures.
  • Good organisation skills and excel at multitasking with the ability to ‘pick up the pace’ during major outages.

We’d Love To See:

  • Python or C++ programming skills.
  • Innovation and drive - happy to challenge the status quo and collaborate on processes within the team.
  • Assertive but diplomatic, relentless and logical.
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize work load and to perform in a high pressure environment.
  • ITIL Service Support knowledge (but not essential).
