Bloomberg EMEA TV is seeking a segment producer to join our team in London. This individual will work with the interviews team to research, organise and produce editorially relevant guest conversations as part of our daily programming. The role entails developing story ideas, building fluid segments, and organizing necessary graphics & video that contribute to interview segments. The segment producer must be able to communicate effectively to give guidance and direction to anchors, reporters and other staff. The ideal candidate will show excellent news judgement to produce quality broadcasts and have an knowledge of business news and the financial markets.
You’ll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is essential
- Experience producing live newscasts in a control room environment
- Strong writing and excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of business news and the financial markets
- Knowledge of European news
- Experience with digital media platforms and integration
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Flexibility with hours is required
