We're looking for an experienced Editor within our Cross-Asset team (CAT). You'll need at minimum to be a fast and experienced writer with demonstrable markets expertise. You'll be a team player with initiative, and the ability to generate ideas and see them to fruition. But most importantly, you'll be capable of operating effectively and quickly in a fast changing news environment. In exchange, the Cross-Asset team will give you a chance to range across the most important markets stories of the day.

We'll trust you to:

• Work on one of the most dynamic teams in Bloomberg News to cover all aspects of the EMEA financial markets in real time
• Help the team to fulfil our goals of delivering stories on the biggest themes across asset classes and enhancing Bloomberg's markets coverage across the board
• Work with editors and reporters from around the newsroom (and the world) to deliver some of Bloomberg's most important coverage

You'll need to have:

• Substantial knowledge of markets, and a keen interest in finance, economics and business
• Confidence in editing, writing and reporting when needed
• An ability to generate story ideas and connect the dots across asset classes
• A knack for delivering sparkling prose to a tight deadline
• A willingness to experiment with new formats and styles of news coverage
• The flexibility to deliver spot stories alongside longer-term analyses and features
• A proven affinity for CATs (Just kidding. You will, however, need a sense of humour)
