Bloomberg News is one of the biggest financial and business news organizations in the world. We lead the way in breaking news about mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and other events, enabling readers, viewers and listeners to stay a step ahead of the markets.

You will join our commodities team based in London and own coverage of the London Metal Exchange and base metals markets. You are tenacious and passionate about developing sources and breaking news in the specialized world of the metals markets. At the same time, you're creative and can quickly craft a narrative that appeals to a broad global audience. You can crunch complex market data to spot trends before anyone else.

We'll trust you to:

  • Break news and write enterprise stories under deadline pressure
  • Cover breaking news with speed and accuracy
  • Write for a range of platforms
  • Be a team player and collaborate with reporters all over the world

You need to have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous experience in writing about commodities
  • An ability to write quickly, concisely and accurately under tight deadline pressure
  • Experience in breaking news and working with sources
