The Global System Administration team is absolutely crucial to the smooth operation of the internal IT systems at Bloomberg. We’re trusted to ensure that our IT infrastructure is running efficiently at all times in order to support the tens of thousands of devices operating on our network along with the thousands of employees who rely on our technology to carry out their roles effectively in a fast paced technology focused company. We sit within the Information Systems group and collaborate daily with many other teams; these include our Service Desk, Technician, Audio Visual, Security, Mobile Technology and Infrastructure design teams. You will provide reactive support for networking issues such as troubleshooting failed equipment including supervisor cards and line cards. You will also support configuration issues including multicast, DHCP and ACL's.
Alongside this, the role includes proactive project work to ensure the Bloomberg's internal network is reliable and efficient for our colleagues to work effectively.
