The Portfolio Buy-Side Implementation team is responsible for the full implementation of customers that will use Bloomberg's Portfolio and Risk solution (PORT) as well as Bloomberg's new ETF Primary Market solution (BSKT).

Main responsibilities will include Pre-Sales engagement, Data Ingestion Set-up, Workflow Configuration, User Training and Analytics Reconciliation. PORT and BSKT implementations require detailed project plan creation, regular partner meetings and in-person client training. Individuals on the team will be required to be well versed in multi-asset classes, have a technical understanding of dataflow, and will be required to have strong project management skills.

You’ll need to have:

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and provide solutions
• Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk and attribution specialists
• An understanding of the ETF Creation/Redemption workflow
• Excellent communicative skills, both verbal and written
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in Buy Side financial institutions or alternatively, experience in financial engineering/structuring.
• The ability to effectively communicate technical/complex issues in a simplistic manner to various audiences
• Knowledge of fixed income, equities and derivatives
• Strong communication skills in order to interact with clients and team members
• Experience communicating with Engineering groups on extremely complicated and complex topics
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Experience leading cross-departmental projects with tight deadlines
• Experience conducting trainings both internally / externally
• Track record of meeting deadlines and setting priorities

We would love to see:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree and CFA
• Experience in the ETF Primary Market
• Technology skills such as scripting or SQL
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate problems and provide solutions
• Understanding of workflows used by portfolio managers, risk and attribution specialists
• Excellent communicative skills, both verbal and written
• The ambition to take ownership and responsibility of issues and handle them effectively through to resolution
• The inclination and aptitude to pick up new technologies and procedures
• The ability to effectively communicate technical/complex issues in a simplistic manner to various audiences
