We write high volume, low latency, multi-threaded applications on UNIX platforms that take data from global financial institutions and deliver that data into the Bloomberg ecosystem for onward distribution to Bloomberg customers. We are continuously adapting to technological and regulatory changes in the market. By the end of 2017 we have the goal of adhering to the requirements of the European MIFID II initiative.

Timeliness and transparency are key features of the project we run. As Project Manager in Market Data Feeds you can expect to be exposed to a range of different technologies and challenges. You will work closely with business managers, feed analysts and development teams to ensure that MIFID changes are delivered on time and in line with the business acceptance plan. In addition you will work with Engineering to identify and implement changes in the workflow to enhance communication between teams, get quicker agreement on distributed design and improve efficiency in project execution.

We are looking for highly capable and collaborative individuals who have a strong sense of ownership.

We'll trust you to:

• Be able to define scope, plan releases and their sequencing
• Undertake resource planning and estimations of time/cost in line with project needs
• Analyse project risks and determine impact of issues found to the project execution. Proactively look for mitigating solutions.
• Have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Dedicatedly develop business relationships with other stakeholders in the eco-system

You'll need to have:

• Ability to liaise with Business, Feed Analysts and Enterprise for all project decisions and to work in close association with Global Feeds managers
• Competence in tracking project status (including status of remote teams); creating/maintaining charts and schedules; monitoring and reporting progress - This would require sound understanding of Jira
• Ability to mitigating risks and issues as they are identified in the project execution
