Our Global Security Architecture (GSA) team is trusted with the information security of our internal corporate network. Whether it’s reviewing the design of a new videoconferencing platform or pen testing proposed new devices or remediating an unsecure configuration, it all happens here. We regularly have the opportunity to collaborate extensively across Information Systems and the enterprise.
We'll Trust you to:
Within GSA team, the Security System Admin will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our cyber security systems. You will maintain the effective and consistent operations of security agents running on the workstations and servers in the Information Systems environment.
Some systems you'll own will include:
- Antivirus system
- Privilege management
- Windows Firewall
- System monitoring agent
- Logging agents/services
- Other future systems
You will be critical in ensuring our security systems are running optimally. This includes making sure all workstations and servers are running the relevant agents, that those agents are receiving the correct policy and configuration and reporting to the management systems and that they (and the supporting infrastructure) are kept up-to-date, patched etc. You will also implement approved policy and configuration changes to the agents; either implementing GPO changes or direct administration using the systems’ management console.
You need to have:
- Working experience in the IT industry involving enterprise application administration
- Advanced to expert knowledge in server and client application administration. (Scripting, Reporting, SQL Reporting, SCCM client maintenance, SCCM infrastructure software updates and support, WSUS, SCUP, OSD and APPV configuration, support, maintenance)
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, including Windows Server 2008-2016, Windows 7-10
- Solid working knowledge of Mac OS X and related technologies
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory and related technologies such as GPOs, Windows Firewall, LAPS, EMET
- Extensive knowledge of information security tools and processes
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, technology advances, new products and best practices
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users
