It is the primary resource utilized to facilitate real time, face to face communication and enables work-from-home / remote location collaboration. AV is utilized everywhere and will need to be accessible anywhere.

How we do it:

Our service offerings fall into five distinct categories; Event Technology, UC Collaboration, AV Infrastructure, AV Design / Build Management, and Digital Signage.

We’ll trust you to:

The Sr. AV Technician candidate will have installation / design build experience with complex AV systems. Candidates must demonstrate experience completing technical installation of audiovisual systems, including equipment rack fabrication, site preparation, termination and calibration of audio and video equipment, and implementation of Crestron and AMX control systems. Ability to trouble-shoot complex audio, video, switching and control systems problems required. Preferred applicants should be able to discuss examples of completed projects and provide positive references.

The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of all aspects of the audio visual realm. An uncompromising attitude towards customer service is a must. Candidates will be working in a fast paced multi-faceted environment involving digital signage, live events, video conferencing, training room management and day to day conference room support. Strong experience as an operating technician, as well as planning and execution of live audiovisual special events is required. Strong background in working with Extron, Crestron and Tandberg / Cisco and Vidyo is highly desirable.

You’ll need to have:

Must have the ability to learn new systems in a short timeframe, able to work flexible hours and capable of traveling up to 25% of their time.

• Extraordinary customer service and advanced communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in installation/commissioning of AV systems
• AMX & Crestron installation experience
• InfoComm CTS certification required, CTS-I is preferred
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, Power Point)
• Ability to setup, test, calibrate and commission equipment and devices as required to create a fully functional AV system. This includes video displays, display systems, screens, cameras, switchers, scalers, processors, transmitters, receivers, interfaces, microphones, mixers, amplifiers, controls, and other active and passive devices.

We’d love to see:

• Prior experience in Audio Visual Systems
• 1 Audio DSP platform certifications desired (Examples: Biamp, ClearOne, Polycom)
• 1 Video processing platform certification desired (Examples: Extron, Jupiter, Christie)
• 1 Control system platform certification desired (Examples: AMX, Crestron, Extron)
• Strong technical/troubleshooting skills
• Complete working knowledge of today's AV & VTC technology
• Event Management-Work with event's team to ensure each and every event goes smoothly
• Ability to respond to changes in a short time frame
• Ability to be flexible, a team player and willingness to learn in a fast paced environment are a must
