Our User Experience group is expanding and looking for an experienced, innovative Visual UI Designer for Mobile! We are looking for a multi-disciplinary team player with mobile UX expertise. Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will be designing mobile applications across iOS/iPad OS/Android platforms. 

You will be responsible for designing feature enhancements for mobile enterprise applications and assist with expanding the existing design system. You will get to be a part of a fun and collaborative team, building a definitive visual system at scale.

You’ll need to have:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and prototyping native apps for phones and tablets with expertise in platform standards for iOS and Android
• B.S./M.S./B.F.A. in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, or related field
• Intuitive and engaging UI design with simple clean style and a pixel-level attention to detail via a portfolio
• Fluency with Figma, Sketch and Adobe Creative suite
• Experience with HTML 5, CSS3, Xcode, and JavaScript
• A track record in building a definitive visual system at scale

We’d love to see:

• In addition to visual design principles, some familiarity with HCI, UCD methodologies, design cycles, and usability best practices

Portfolio:

Our goal is to see if your problem-solving and visual design skills are a good fit for Bloomberg. We would like to see artifacts such as: sketches, style guides for UI layouts, framework design, storyboards etc. We are most interested in seeing in-depth UI/UX design for mobile native applications. Please include a link to your online portfolio in your resume. Your application will not be considered without a portfolio.
