We are changing the way corporations deal with their risk. We want to get people away from boring number crunching in excel and have the machines do the heavy lifting. This year fifty companies will rely on us for their business to run. In three years we want that to be a thousand. We need you to help us deliver robust, scalable systems that are easy to use and delight our clients. New technologies can change everything. Help us build out our micro-services architecture. We want our clients to wake up in the morning and have the data crunching already done so they can focus on decisions

Your main challenge is to ensure optimal availability and reliability of TRM application on multiple environments. That means:

  • Refining our automated software deployment and release management processes.
  • Responding to, and resolving unexpected and potential service problems.
  • Writing software and defining best practices to prevent the same problem happening twice.

We'll trust you to:

  • Drive capacity planning, performance analysis, instrumentation and other non-functional systems requirements.
  • Review and influence on-going design, architecture, standards and methods for improving operating services.
  • Improve application monitoring.
  • Manage environments configuration and ensure consistent and up-to-date environments setup.
  • Automate and perform software deployments.
  • Design and build new TRM environments from scratch.
  • Support client's on-boarding process and sales teams.

You'll need to have:

  • A background as a System Administrator or Software Developer with a demonstrable interest in Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps.
  • Experience supporting Windows-based Web applications, Linux knowledge is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of PowerShell
  • Knowledge of C#, experience with other programming languages is a plus.
  • Knowledge of common Windows DevOps tools such as Octopus Deploy, Chef and New Relic (or similar).

We'd love to see:

  • An understanding of how complex systems environments work
  • Experience installing, configuring and maintaining instances of DevOps Toolsets such as Octopus Deploy and New Relic.
  • A deep understanding of internet and networking protocols
  • Real passion for automation and engineering mind-set
