- Relay these needs back to Bloomberg stakeholders in the form of a proposed solution and client’s objectives, working with Implementation, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure approach is in line with best practices and vision
- Exercise sound judgment in leading discussions on trade-offs between client-specific needs and broader business priorities
- Develop client-aligned roadmaps and collateral including tutorials, sample code, reference implementations, and presentations that will be used by practitioners as well as executive client decision makers
- Leverage deep client knowledge when coordinating with Program Management, Product, and Engineering to develop and deliver an execution plan
- Ensure budgets and timelines accurately reflect the nuances and complexities of the client and Bloomberg
You'll need to have:
- 10+ years of experience in a technical project management or a technical sales role
- Deep familiarity with asset management, global and multi-asset experience a plus
- Familiar with full investment lifecycle as well as investment operations
- Prior experience with change management and business transformation initiatives
- Track record of client engagement and communication, with the ability to craft and deliver both technical documentation and conceptual presentations (white-board, small team, broad audience)
- Understand and articulate implications of various technology architectures
- Extremely pragmatic with good commercial sense, comfortable making principles-based recommendations, tradeoffs, and decisions
- High standards and strong sense of personal ownership, comfortable setting and holding a high bar with internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership skills to effect change via influence and without authority
- Versatile communicator who is able to coordinate and create alignment across varied groups including sales, product, engineering and client
- Entrepreneurial and passionate learner who can quickly become an expert in various domains and conceptualize the impact of new information
