Our global market trading platforms link all available electronic trading products into one portal and provides multi-dealer, executable composite pricing, so clients can stage, monitor, trade, allocate and perform TCA on their trades through a single function on the terminal for each asset class and seamlessly interact with our buy-side OMS AIM

What’s the role?

You’ll lead a team of experienced sales people, responsible for selling and managing our suite of eTrading products to global banks covering equities, cash bonds and fixed income derivatives, FX cash and derivatives as well as listed instruments. You’ll be someone who’s passionate about your people, able to motivate them to perform at the peak of their potential and create a positive team spirit. You’ll also bring a strong knowledge and experience at either a bank or an electronic trading vendor and should have a strong understanding of the financial markets, the trading process, including STP, and OMS connectivity.

  • Lead a team of highly successful sales people
  • Motivate people to perform at the peak of their potential and create a positive team spirit
  • Coach and develop the team members
  • Give clear, constructive and actionable feedback
  • Sales pipeline management
  • Fuel success by defining sales strategies and identifying priorities for the team
  • Work in close collaboration with your peer managers in the other regions and other areas of Bloomberg
  • Discover opportunities in the market place that can help drive our business forward
  • Take responsibility for business planning, budgeting and management of small to large scale projects

You’ll need to have:

  • A keen desire to lead and mentor people in sales.
  • An understanding of performance management and how to motivate and inspire people
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels including C-suite
  • Build and maintain strategic internal partnerships across departments
  • The ability to spot trends, new opportunities and establish credibility with our clients by understanding their business
