What’s in it for you:

As a Mobile Technical Product Manager for Platforms and Infrastructure, you will be primarily responsible for owning, setting direction and executing the product strategy for the Mobile Software Development Kit (MSDK).  The MSDK is an internal platform for designing and building mobile app functionality, specifically for Bloomberg datasets, that internal product partners can use to add functionality that their users need when away from the Terminal. You will also be responsible for other core infrastructure work that keeps our Apple and Android apps up to date with advancements in iOS, iPadOS and Android.

The role requires close collaboration within the Mobile Product, Engineering, and UX teams and establishing effective partnerships with other Bloomberg Terminal product owners and engineers. You will be actively engaging with senior stakeholders to validate and iterate on product strategies and to identify new opportunities. 

We will trust you to:

• Work closely within the Mobile Team to develop and execute the platform and infrastructure roadmap.
• Have a deep understanding of the wider Bloomberg product offering to develop mobile solutions that will meet the needs of our clients both internal and external.
• Build strong relationships with Terminal product and engineering owners and other key stakeholders.
• Build a partnership with Mobile engineering and UX/VX to ensure that we are developing the best possible solutions in the most efficient manner.  
• Keep up to date with changes/enhancements to iOS/iPadOS and Android and with the rapidly changing mobile app landscape.

You need to have:

• 5+ years of deep software product management experience, preferably with platforms, toolkits, and infrastructure products.
• A track record of collaboratively creating a product vision and roadmap, investigating trade-offs of various technical approaches, prioritizing at macro and micro levels, and release management.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work across teams and to break down large, complex business problems into discrete, achievable steps.
• Prior experience with mobile products is preferred but not a requirement.
