The Role:

There is an exciting opportunity for an experienced team-player to join our London Equities desk as an Execution Consultant/Sales Trader. Taking a consultative approach you will be a key member of our London desk, helping Tradebook’s global clients to optimise their use of our suite of trading tools, analytics and functionality.
You will consult directly with clients regarding their ideal trading process and workflow, with an ultimate goal of helping clients to achieve best execution requirements. In addition to managing and monitoring orders, an important part of your role will be to build deep client relationships, mitigate risk and drive commission revenue through the thoughtful promotion of Tradebook solutions.
You will also have an understanding of the fast evolving market structure landscape and as well us upcoming regulatory requirements.
You will also possess an outgoing personality, good presenting skills and an entrepreneurial spirit.

We’ll trust you to:

• Expand the Tradebook execution business in the EMEA region, thru building deep relevant execution advisory services to our existing and new clients
• Work closely with New Business Sales, Product development, Quant services and supporting departments
• Position our Products and Services with an intelligent, considered approach
• Partner with colleagues in other regions to coordinate service for our global client base
• Collaborate across asset classes with your colleagues from other desks and business areas to help reach our collective goals and strategies
• Enter and monitor client orders and identify any possible risks/errors

You’ll need to have:

• FCA Securities and Regulation Exams (CF30 registered approved person)
• Undergraduate degree
• Deep knowledge of Equity markets and trading terminology
• Thorough understanding in Bloomberg functionality and equity analytics
• Proficiency in Bloomberg trading applications (e.g. EMSX, Tradebook, SSEOMS, AIM)
• Knowledge of buy-side and sell-side OMS/EMS applications
• Knowledge of advanced execution strategies (algorithms/DMA/High/Frequency)
• Knowledge of pre and post trade TCA products and applications
• Strong understanding of electronic trading industry best practices
• Exemplary communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to operate in a lively and fast paced environment
