Bloomberg's Transformation Team serves the organization as they transition to Agile. We are looking for an inspirational and influential person to join us in New York as we help Bloomberg to grow and find better ways of working. You will be partnered with a highly-experienced external Agile Coach who will act as your mentor. Together, you will spend your time coaching people in the business (from engineering teams and Product Owners, to managers and senior leaders). As you grow and gain experience you will begin to work independently until you are considered a fully-fledged Agile Coach.

We'll trust you to:

• Work with development teams, managers and senior leaders across the entire organization
• Grow their practices, environment, relationships and mindsets
• Partner with an experienced contract Agile Coach
• Build and promote the Bloomberg Agile community
• Use your experience and wisdom to choose the appropriate tools, techniques and approaches to use in a variety of contexts
• Create and use a network of people to better achieve results
• Collaborate as team-mates with other Agile Coaches (internal/external)

You'll need to have:

• Practitioner experience of Agile scrum framework and Lean principles
• Demonstrable self-growth in Agile and Lean knowledge
• A desire to help people to grow and achieve their goals
• A track record of success as an internal change agent

We'd love to see:

• Experience as a Scrum Master or some other equivalent role
• Understanding of the differences between coaching, mentoring, facilitating and teaching, and when each approach is applicable
• A background in professional coaching - partnering with people to encourage self-discovery, eliciting their own solutions and strategies, and holding them responsible and accountable for them
• Facilitation experience - guiding groups through processes that help them to come to solutions and make decisions
• Teaching skills - designing and delivering training that is effective, engaging and focused
• The ability to impart one’s experience, knowledge and guidance to help grow another in the same or similar domains
