Bloomberg's Work Management Productivity and Reporting Team works with groups across engineering and product to build and release innovative solutions. We ensure that product development plans are transparent to teams throughout the company. We are looking for a support specialist with a passion to solve problems and improve efficiency for users throughout all levels of management in the organization.

In this role, you’ll support product and engineering teams and new developments across Bloomberg. You’ll engage with teams and leaders in dialogue on how to best manage their work and processes. The work you do will directly impact the productivity of over 8000 people and the products they build for Bloomberg.

We’ll trust you to:

 -Answer 'how to' questions, end user support for Atlassian shop and plugins
 -Lead project setups and provide day to day administrative support
 -Build and maintain documentation on procedures, processes, and business guidelines
 -Vet requirements for new fields, permissions, and plugins
 -Deliver training and end user engagements
 -Lead special projects (e.g. upgrades, maintenance, workflows, integrations)

You’ll need to have:

 -Product knowledge – Jira Software, Confluence, Structure, JQL (JIRA Query Language)
 -Experience troubleshooting and determining causes of operating errors
 -Understanding of Groovy scripting for development and execution of administrative functions
 -A passion for customer service

We’d love to see:

 -An understanding of the design, implementation, and deployment of high performance, large-scale applications in a distributed environment
 -Experience with load testing, monitoring and tuning of Atlassian products
 -An understanding of emerging large scale management methodologies such as SAFe, LeSS and Lean along with more traditional methodologies such as PMI PMBOK and knowing under which circumstances these can be applied or combined.
 -Experience with Linux, Apache, Tomcat server configuration and tuning, and JVM tuning
 -Experience with EasyBI, Structure and ScriptRunner for Jira plug-ins
 -ACP Jira Administrator Certification is a plus
