The Role

Live mix all studio anchors/reporters/guests as well as remote guests/feeds and music and sound on tape. Manipulate EQ, gain, compression, and delay settings for any audio source. Assign each studio anchor and guest a microphone and IFB. Create and assign several mix/minus feeds to each IFB. Monitor battery levels and trouble shoot for any issues. Maintain show RTS pages and show music. Coordinate with the director, TD, and Master Control to avoid any problems or issues.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in live television or equivalent college degree
• Knowledge of Microphones and IFBs required
• Knowledge of audio mixing required
• Knowledge of RTS system required
• Ability to work varied hours, sometimes early am or late night
• Work well in a high pressure environment
