Bloomberg’s evaluated pricing service, BVAL, provides increased transparency through accurate pricing of fixed income and derivatives instruments. Mutual funds, money managers, hedge funds, internal pricing groups, and auditors rely on BVAL to establish fair and independent fixed income asset valuations.

The BVAL Evaluators are capital markets experts responsible for employing relevant, innovative, and leading-edge valuation models that leverage Bloomberg’s in-house analytics to provide high-quality data for the front, middle office and operations. We are seeking a High Yield Corporate Bond Evaluator to help expand the BVAL Corporate Bond offering.

We’ll trust you to:

• Use your knowledge of the Corporate market to ensure proper and consistent pricing of High Yield Corporate bonds
• Design and support valuation models and yield curves in the US Corporate bond market
• Work closely with other BVAL team members, business development and R&D to develop innovative models and enhance our Corporate offering
• Discuss complex valuation model s and pricing questions with colleagues and clients
• Ensure the delivery of valuations for High Yield Corporate bonds to clients

You’ll need to have:

• A minimum of four or more years of Corporate High Yield Grade bond experience from a valuations, buy-side, portfolio management, underwriting, or rating perspective
• Strong knowledge of bond structures, market drivers, fixed income analytics, and pricing approaches
• Experience pricing High Yield Corporate Bonds
• Ability to articulate complex valuation models in a clear and concise manner with internal and external constituents
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• An ability to work across multiple groups across reporting lines
