We'll trust you to:

  • Identify, prioritize, research, and track key litigation with potential to impact business and the markets over issues relating to the Healthcare sector, specifically in the areas of diagnostics, medical devices, and healthcare services
  • Help build and maintain litigation watch lists
  • Facilitate research and analysis between all relevant Bloomberg analysts, including those at Bloomberg Intelligence covering the sector
  • Author and coauthor research on cross-industry and industry-specific litigation for use in the BI function and other functions on the Bloomberg terminal
  • Engage in primary research on ongoing litigation, as well as companies impacted and other related participants
  • Write research on a regular basis and communicate it to relevant Bloomberg terminal clients via phone calls, in-person meetings, and online chat
  • Create and manage partnerships with key external market professionals, including clients and prospects, to identify additional commercial opportunities
  • Identify, support and maintain critical litigation data and functionality on the Bloomberg terminal

You need to have:

  • A Juris Doctor degree
  • Patent litigation experience
  • 4+ years progressively responsible law firm experience or combined law firm/in-house experience, specializing in the healthcare sector
  • General knowledge of the Financial Services industry.
  • Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
  • A self-starter attitude and be an independent thinker and collaborative team player
  • A willingness to travel to regional offices as needed.

We'd love to see:

  • Experience interpreting financial statements & performing quantitative financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, & procedures of finance & accounting.
  • Marketing or business development experience.
  • Knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal a plus
