Bloomberg News is looking for an experienced guest booker to join its U.S. television team. The booker will find news makers and compelling guests for Bloomberg Television, develop and maintain relationships with news makers, major American companies and public relations firms. The candidate should expect that they may also produce, write and edit live and tape segments; and from time to time work in the field during major news events. The Booker will work with the Head of Guest Interviews to conceive and execute enterprising segments for TV and digital platforms. Successful candidates will have solid understanding, experience and knowledge of financial and business news and a minimum of 3 years industry experience relevant to booking news guests. Candidates must thrive under deadline pressure and breaking news. Flexibility with hours is essential.

You need to have:

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of recent and relevant booking experience required in financial news
• Track record of experience in news segment and field producing helpful
• Experience of working in a real-time news environment
• Previous financial services experience preferred
• Strong writing skills
• Flexibility with hours is essential.
