What’s the role?We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join the COO’s Project Management Office. We are a startup within Bloomberg and the business is growing at an incredible pace. We need you to help build the processes that support the business the right way, for the first time by utilizing industry best practices. We also need you to quickly adapt and be flexible to the agile landscape naturally found in any start up. As a Business Analyst supporting the COO/PMO.

We'll trust you to:-Be the go-to-person for KYC business process management and operational workflows

• Liase between Sales, Client Experience and Data Intelligence to define the scope of business initiatives and aid in the execution of key project deliverables
• Create beautiful visualizations of data sets and workflows so that senior management can make informed decisions based on your thorough analysis of problems
• Assist in the preparation of business proposals and management reporting
• Track dependencies, manage expectations of key stakeholders and keep team accountable of outstanding action items
• Participate in user acceptance testing and assist in the quality assurance of new system functionalities
• Coordinate the go-to-market strategies for new features and product enhancements with Client Segment Owners, Client Experience and Marketing teams.
• Provide a high degree of excellence in support & service to global business managers

You'll need to have:

• An understanding of the financial markets, the various players and the role Bloomberg plays
• Experience in the business analysis / project management in technology, application development or financial services industry
• Analytical mindset with the ability to visualize, gather information, analyze, articulate, and solve complex problems
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial awareness
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with a fast pace, changing environment

We’d also love to see:-Knowledge of KYC, AML, client on-boarding and other regulatory requirements is advantageous

• Knowledge of the Terminal and other Bloomberg businesses is favorable
