The Core Product, Mortgage and Cash Structured Product team in Bloomberg is seeking a Product Manager to help sell, support and develop their newer premium product offerings. The main new product offering is the Core Mortgage Premium (CMP). This product allows the programmatic access to the same data and analytics that power the Bloomberg Professional service. Accessed via the Bloomberg API, this service provides everything subscribers would need to build and power custom data, analytical and risk solutions. The development of the Second Generation Structuring Tool will play a large part in the CMP initiative.

The role:

The Product Manager will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, marketing, adoption and enhancement of Cash Structured Products structuring tools.
The primary will be to focus is on structuring of Government Sponsored Entities Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CMO).

Secondary focus is the creation of Mortgage User Defined Instruments (MUDI) to enable clients to add their private or non-modeled securities to the terminal. MUDI securities must function within all Bloomberg functionality including portfolio tools and trading systems.
Tertiary responsibilities are the support of Chinese Asset Backed and Collateralized Mortgage Obligations and Australian Residential Mortgage Backed Securities.

We'll trust you to:

• Work closely with customers to support their structuring questions and prospects in sales generation, implementation and support roles
• Contribute to the development of the product

You'll need to have:


• 5+ years of Cash Structured Products cash flow modeling experience
• 3+ years of Agency CMO Structuring experience
• Scripting, coding capabilities (Python preferred)
• Understanding of prepayment and credit models
• Deep understanding of complete spectrum of Cash Structured Products security types (Agency Pool & CMO, Non-Agency RMBS, Asset Backed Securities, CMBS, CLO & International assets)
