Bloomberg Media Distribution is looking for a Client Services Specialist to roll up their sleeves to support a global licensing business that distributes Bloomberg content to most major publishers. We’re looking for someone driven, very well organized and comfortable wearing multiple operational hats.


  •  Be a strong and communicative team player, partnering with cross-functional teams across global offices and time zones; act as the go-to resource for our account reps so they can focus on their core task: selling
  •  Provide support to our sales reps and clients throughout the entire sales cycle from initial product trials via contract negotiations and, finally, to onboarding; this could be in sync with our account reps or in direct interaction with our global client base; tasks include drafting contracts in collaboration with the legal team, own the team’s proprietary billing tool and ensure accuracy of invoicing; provide senior management and CFO team with revenue reporting; confidently handle the day-to-day troubleshooting requirements
  •  Gain a deep understanding of Bloomberg’s ticketing systems; be highly organized maintaining open tickets and diligently pursue their resolution
  •  Think on your feet and be prepared to jump in for troubleshooting, supporting a wide range of functions and tools
  •  Be willing to learn and acquire proficiency with billing tools, client-facing product platforms, reporting functionality
  •  Handle admin requests for our Media Terminal clients
    You’ll need to have:

  •  Willingness to get your hands dirty, solving any problems needed to help projects move forward
  •  A strong bias toward action and ability to break down complex problems into steps that drive solutions
  •  Ability to take initiative and confidence working in a complex organization
  •  Experience with self-driven investigation and research, categorizing data, and handling requests with limited guidelines
  •  A high level of integrity and ability to use your own initiative with minimal direction
  •  Above average proficiency in excel and a second language are advantageous
