Financial firms rely on dozens of critical systems to develop and execute strategies, evaluate risk, track P&L, manage sales and trading, and handle settlement. What’s the role?

Due to significant expansion – and huge opportunity, we’re growing the team. We’re looking to hire a sales team leader to our New York office. In this role you’ll be a player and a coach. You will work to expand our client base across both the buy side and the sell side.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Own strategy, execution, people development and management
  • Motivate reps to perform at the peak of their potential and create a positive team spirit
  • Coach and develop the team members
  • Give clear, constructive and actionable feedback
  • Manage the CIS sales engagement smoothly from beginning to end
  • Leverage market, product and technical expertise to identify client needs
  • Establish & execute a pipeline target market strategy for CIS’s regional sales target
  • Partner with Account Management in our buy-side and sell-side businesses to close new business with our existing client base and prospecting new clients
  • Collaborate with the CIS and non-CIS Business Management groups to develop the Integration value proposition by gathering and collating market and customer intelligence
  • Develop and manage key customer relationships with decision makers and key people with influence to maximize sales opportunities
  • Achieve sales targets and metrics in both individual and collaborative sales
  • Coordinate the full enterprise sales process from identifying leads to closing them
  • Respond to RFP's, building Statements of Work (SOW) and create formal sales proposals
  • Understand key competitors or alternatives and successfully positioning our products advantages

What do I need to apply?

  • Sales and sales management experience where you have met or exceeded demanding targets
  • 3+ years’ experience leading a specialized sales team
  • Strong capital markets, preferably derivatives (minimum 7-10 years) knowledge, to provide high level analytical and product expertise to our clients and our sales force
  • Consultative and solution sales skills
  • You'll need to be well versed and confident giving on site client presentations and trainings
  • A willingness to travel
