Bloomberg Media is looking for an experienced Content Analytics Manager to find opportunities based on trends in the data to develop rich audience and content segmentation strategies. We’re looking for strategic problem solvers, people who can help set the editorial vision and roadmap for Bloomberg Media and understand how to execute on that vision.

WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:

  •  Partner closely with the newsroom editorial staff to optimize and develop content strategy for various platforms in different markets and communicate actionable insights with the goal of driving audience growth, engagement and dedication
  •  Collaborate with Social, SEO, Newsletter and Paid Marketing teams on a strategy that grows and optimizes our digital footprint across various distribution channels
  •  Create and maintain a reporting system to deliver daily, weekly and monthly insights on editorial performance, content analytics and traffic trends to the editorial team and other key partners
  •  Excel at identifying and interpreting patterns in visitor consumption behavior to identify new opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence and consumer insight
  •  Should be proficient in content tagging and measurement, tracking viewer journeys and tying together multiple data sources to drive strategic recommendations

YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  •  Demonstrated experience (5+ years) working in a digital media publishing organization
  •  Proficiency with Google Analytics and experience working with large, complex datasets to present concise insights and recommendations
  •  Demonstrated technical understanding of and curiosity about the major social media platforms, their best practices and performance tracking within Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  •  Excellent people skills and a proven collaborator; ability to work optimally with both direct and indirect teams across the organization, gaining consensus and stakeholder agreement, ability to present insights and recommendations persuasively, in a compelling, easy to understand manner
  •  SQL/Big Query experience a plus
