The role of Sales Relationship Manager is to forge deep and trusted relationships with our clients, taking the time to understand their businesses, their pressures and concerns, the ins and outs of their workflow and technology. Armed with this intel and your consultative approach, you will uncover opportunities for us to expand our partnerships whilst at the same time increasing our clients overall operating efficiency.
At Bloomberg we innovate, and showing your clients mind blowing product enhancements is just one of your exciting responsibilities. You’ll take satisfaction from ensuring clients are getting maximum value from the Terminal, an indispensable piece of their daily workflow.
You’ll also keep your ears close to the ground, up to date with the latest trends and business initiatives within your client base. Your skill and passion in KYC will ensure we maximise on opportunity and mitigate risks to our revenue.

We’ll trust you to:

  • Effectively manage the sales cycle from identifying opportunities to generating revenue through terminal and enterprise solutions sales
  • Collaborate with specialized sales teams to promote and achieve firm wide targets
  • Establish and foster credibility with our clients by constantly improving your knowledge of the Bloomberg product offering
  • Be able to describe, differentiate and position the value of all of our offerings
  • Anticipate client needs, build relationships, and adapt your sales approach

You’ll need to have:

3-5 years of sell-side and/or buy-side experience in or selling within the financial markets (focus on the corporations market strongly preferred)

  • Proven consultative sales skills, including: competitive market research, lead generation, prospecting, business development, and closing sales
  • Experience with various elements of treasury management including: cash management, foreign exchange hedging, and dividend programs
  • Ability to identify and capitalize different buyer motivations across various client sectors
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements concurrently
  • Experience with short-term and long term portfolio management and strategic or alternative portfolio management preferred
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships both externally and internally
  • Ability to travel frequently
