Bloomberg Enterprise Data is growing rapidly. At our core, we deliver data that firms use across their enterprise to support capital markets activity. Our customers are engineers, quants and data scientists who leverage our application-ready data covering the entire breadth of the financial markets and our data quality and governance technologies to automate the services they create.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing new content set development from the requirements phase through engineering and delivery. As such you will interact with content managers, product management, engineers, service delivery and senior management. Your primary job will be to insure the prioritized data sets have complete requirements including content design and are being created through engineering and testing phases with the appropriate allocation of technical and data resources to meet an ever-shifting set of business and market-driven priorities. The job requires you to have project management, business judgment, financial acumen, market expertise and technical skills – particularly with respect to data and conceptual data modeling.

We’ll trust you to:

• Actively collaborate with other business managers, engineers, sales and clients throughout the design, planning and development lifecycle
• Clearly articulate your understanding of all prioritized data sets
• Work closely with Engineering to drive and lead product development of new content sets

You’ll need to have:

• 2+ years of financial data industry experience, with a passion for building new technology
• A desire to increase experience of the product development life cycle, and launch of new data content
• Ability to track and understand high level fundamental technical concepts, evaluate tradeoffs and organize new content priorities across product design & engineering
• Understanding of financial markets and market data industry
• Strong interpersonal and business process skills; ability to utilize research, data and metrics
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, computer science or related field of study

We’d love to see:

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (particularly Excel, PPT) and Atlassian Jira
